Earthquake

Earthquake, Stone Song, Rank 3. When you choose to inflict the listed damage to a victim, is it Strength or Agility damage?

Additionally, does armor protect against that damage?

Re: Helping the Pathfinder and Scout

Yes. I read this as only one character in the party may roll, but others can assist the roll.

Re: Potions- Finding or Crafting Inquiry

I agree with everything said above by faun.

In addition to that, for a simple rules-grounded approach, Bind Magic (Rank 3) can be used to create potions as single-use magic items.

Re: Do you roll for an encounter when the PCs enter a hex with an adventure site?

What about when the PCs enter a hex with a village/castle/dungeon?

In those cases I only roll for random encounters if the players keep fafffing around without actually entering the dungeon/castle/village.

Re: Do you roll for an encounter when the PCs enter a hex with an adventure site?

Sometimes I do roll for a random encounter when the players enter an hex (terrain based on the hex being entered), sometimes I do it after the players spend a few quarter days on the same hex, and sometimes I don't roll at all.

Re: Importance of 300 years of Blood Mist?

The following post makes the assertion that an exercised and well trained horse can manage traveling 80 to 100 k a day. That’s 8 to 10 hexes per day. Even an untrained horse can manage 3 to 5 hexes per day. https://worldbuilding.stackexchange.com/questions/6411/possible-distance-travelled-by-horse-...

I agree that the reading of these talents is ambiguous. Is the original description, in Swedish, any clearer?

Re: Importance of 300 years of Blood Mist?

I have the impression most players choose Young characters just to maximize their attributes. There's nothing implicit or explicit towards limiting new characters to the Young age if you're rolling their background, and nothing indicates that players' characters weren't active during the years of th...

Re: Backstories and gear

Is the intent that when your roll Backstories, the only gear you get is that from your Formative events, plus resources?  Or do you get all the normal gear for your profession, plus the formative gear? The description is not really clear about that, but if any of my players wants to roll a characte...
