Icons/Symbols from the Text/Dice

Hi, I was wondering if the bullet symbols/explosion/crosshair symbol that are used on the dice and the text are available anywhere for us to use in docs we create? Checking the Community Content Kit I didn't find them anywhere, but I might have missed them. Does Free League provide them easily somew...

Re: Damage for Fragmentation Grenades

Baldrick, thanks for that. I had forgotten a weapon's Armor modifier only applies to armor -- which makes perfect sense when I type it out like that.

"NUMBER: PCx2" -- What about NPCs Traveling with the PCs?

The encounters often have a number of NPCs determined by a multiplier applied to the number of PCs. However, so far in play the PCs have helped some starving American soldiers, and have just rescued some American soldiers who called on a radio for help against Soviet troops. My question is, if the P...

Re: Damage for Fragmentation Grenades

A follow up question: Fragmentation grenades have a base damage of 2. They have a blast rating of C. Their armor modifier is +1. Given all this, the most damage a fragmentation grenade can do is 2 damage. (Two successes off a pair of C or D dice, which offer base damage +1 for three points of damage...

Re: Battle Maps and Elevations

As an example, look at the map below. What is going on in the upper and lower corners of the right side of the map? I'm not saying it doesn't make sense. I'm asking: Can someone please help me make it make sense?

Thanks!

Battle Maps and Elevations

First, I think the battle maps are lovely. However, when I look at the maps I very uncertain where the boundaries of changing elevation come into play. Some contours are clear, but others are soft. Some shades make changes in elevation pronounced, while others (as far as I can tell) leave it ti my i...

When Do Maps and Initiative Kick in When an Encounter is Drawn

More questions! I set up a little skirmish to play out tonight. Good idea! I can see how the pieces are fitting together and interlocking! It's been fun! But I have found what I think is a gap in the rules, and looking for how other people fill it! (And if I missed this in the rules, I apologize.) O...

Continuous Suppression Results

Apologies if this is covered in the rules and I missed it! 1. American troops fire on Soviet troops in a hex, rolling bullets on their ammo dice. 2. The Soviet troops fail their CUF rolls, drop prone, and miss their next turn. 3. When the American go again, they fire and once more roll bullets on th...
