Ogre pledge up for grabs

After reading through the pdfs, I've concluded that this isn't a game that my group will enjoy, so I'm looking to sell my stuff once it arrives and recoup some of my investment. I backed at the Ogre level, so all the dice, books, etc. are up for grabs. I'd prefer to only ship to the UK for simplicit...

Re: Exorcism

Thanks, that's great food or thought. I like the idea of making it more or less like a combat, I think - reading the description of the possession power under Djinni again, they roll Mystic Powers opposed by Wits, to possess a target, so having some similar mechanism to exorcise them seems reasonabl...

Exorcism

Exorcism is mentioned as a mystic power in the rules and also somewhere else as something that you might call a preacher for, but there are no real mechanics described for it. Has anyone come up with a 'process' for the ritual - time, gear, skills, etc. required?

Re: The Stronghold (beta feedback)

I like Galvanizer's suggestions to simplify the system - having read through the chapter a couple of times, it does feel way too crunchy. For me, it's trying to be comprehensive and abstract at the same time and as a consequence failing at both. For instance, you need a mine to dig up iron ore and a...

Re: Hidden Combination Question

Does that mean he can't even try to 'Stand Up' on his turn, because he didn't select 'Prepare' in anticipation of being knocked down? Seems a bit rough - you get knocked down in the first step, effectively lose both your actions and end up as a sitting duck. If instead Nirmena had chosen Parry as he...

Re: Dice

So, I've had a reply from the company (and had a quick check on the Companies House website) and I think they're legit. Disappointingly, if not surprisingly, the 'From 20p per dice' mentioned on their website doesn't appear anywhere in their price list - even if you want 500+ 16mm d6s with one face ...

Re: Dice

It's the rather unimaginatively titled www.dice.co.uk Ha, indeed!  Website looks a little sketchy - do you know anyone who has actually used them? No, I came across them when I was searching for something else. I only e-mailed them this morning, so will wait and see if they respond. Doing a bit of ...

Re: Dice

That's one of the things that stopped me from ordering multiple sets at the outset, it seems like there would be a lot of redundant artifact dice. I've now found a place in the UK that advertises custom, laser-engraved d6s (if you order at least 25) starting from 20 pence each. That's about the same...
