Breach charges are supposed to be powerful, blowing the everluvin' crap out of things like starship hulls/ security portals and building walls. They're designed to do more damage, more crits. Boom, baby.

I would read this as "graviton projector" being used as a generic term for the ship's propulsion. I would have no problem in my game allowing modifications - such as a tuned accelerator - to the antimatter rockets as well. I mean, if they're supposed to be high-tech, they should be able to...

I'm not sure I'm following. If I use the farthest distance, isn't that 23 AU, not 31? Why are we adding the distances of the two planets from their sun together? We're not traveling all those distances. Requiring 3 successes just to make the trip take the time it would normally take using RAW seems ...

I agree with you; the evade command refers just to distancing between ships. I'm sure it wouldn't hurt the game to allow it to give a bonus to avoid ramming, but that'd be a houserule and not, I think, the intended application.

That wording is very vague, indeed. I guess it's easier to simply ignore modifiers and roll an basic attack, but that makes no sense. I just ruled that anyone who not only misses their attack, but who also rolls 1's on their attack dice might hit an ally in close combat with that target instead. I think I had them roll a second time using half their normal dice pool to see if they hit a friendly, or something like that. Worked fine.

I'd like to know as well, because I spotted that upon read-through, and I think an accelerator carbine is the best weapon on the list for general use, if that Auto trait is correct. My group got very excited over the idea of buying bumper stickers for their Class IV starship at every portal they jumped through.  ;)
