Re: Följeslagare?

Låter coolt, men svårt att genomföra. Min erfarenhet av liknande "bihang" är att desto mindre spelmekanik desto bättre. Abstrahera mera, är mitt enda råd.

Re: Running Weatherstone

Yeah, the map provided isn't much use. It's a pretty picture, that's all. I've narrated much about ravines and buildings, parapets and breastworks clinging onto a big cliff split in half with bridges between them. The insides of the buildings I've very much hand waved. I think the lack of some more ...

Re: Boring long travels between locations

If they are coming home, they will replenish their resources at the end, so there's no need to roll for those. For the travel, I'd suggest the party designate a scout and I have that scout roll one time for the trip. Then I'd roll for encounters once per type of hex they cross and present that if en...

Re: Party full of Lore and Camping?

I allow multiple Lore rolls, but each successful roll reveals different things. If a bard rolls, she will learn what the songs say and if a Sorcerer rolls she will learn what the old books about occult secrets say. So far it has lead my players to wanting to go in three directions at once, from the ...

Re: Converting Tomb of a Serpent King to FL

I never had to consider the matter, as my players fled, battered, broken and beaten! I think it'd take a look at the D&D/OSR source and make a judgement based on how valuable a find you could pair with the monster. I'm fairly stingy with treasure, but give out artifacts with chaotic drawbacks once i...

Re: Converting Tomb of a Serpent King to FL

I used Agility dice for the attacks, unless otherwise noted. That way I kept the entry short and to the point, and the range seemed to work ok.

Re: Converting Tomb of a Serpent King to FL

Here are my conversions of the gibbering mouther, the ghast and the troglodytes:

I went more with flavour than a bit by bit conversion.

Re: Converting Tomb of a Serpent King to FL

I only have them typed up in pen in my notebook, but I can get it transferred to a google doc. I'll reply when I have I have it.

Re: Converting Tomb of a Serpent King to FL

I ran A Devourer Most Foul ( https://dysonlogos.blog/2013/09/15/a-devourer-most-foul/ ) by Dyson Logos for my players. It was a true deathtrap, but they barely escaped alive after just a quick peek. I did write up monster attack tables for the gibbering mouthers and the trogs. Quite fun, and I will ...
