This movie is technically set in the 50s, but the premise still works really well for TftL. Imagine it.. a group of kids fi...

Re: Classes

"You see us as you want to see us - in the simplest terms, in the most convenient definitions. But what we found out is that each one of is us a brain... and an athlete... and a basket case... a princess.. and a criminal. Does that answer your question?" ...Sorry. Quote fit so nice here. ...

Re: Problems of Setting

What I'm finding, reading through, is that anywhere you feel you need more explanation, the answer is that it's up to you. If you're running the game, you get to decide. The book is an outline, you get to flesh out the details depending on the dynamics between your players and how you want to tell t...

Re: Classes

I disagree with this. I had lots of geeky friends who were girls, and they were in to video games and books (not piano or flute). Re: Classes

For roleplay flavour, think about the various specialisms that each class indicates.. Geek (Subclasses: Computer, Chess, Roleplayer) Jock (Subclasses: Track, Wrestler, Football, Baseball) Troublemaker (Subclasses: Thief, Stoner, Class Clown, Fighter) Popular Kid Subclasses: (Ingenue, Pretty Face, F...

Re: Age Of Innocence (Character Ages)

Ah thanks! That makes good sense. I've not been able to have Simons books shipped to me, I've been living on an island.  Cheers. I only have Things From the Flood in PDF from the first Kickstarter. I still need to get Tales From the Loop so I'm on an island, too :) Haha. No, I mean, I actually live...

Re: Mysteries

I could just see a child's viewpoint running against a wall. They've befriended something dangerous without knowing, only to go through a normal routine of being hit and have a raptor fly through the window to attack a parent.
Brilliant. I sort of want to read that book.
