Wasn't sure, so I erred on the side of caution. :geek:

Re: So Glad Its Back But....

Where can I find this forum?
As the evil Dr Smith pointed out: a search for juhlin and twilight 2000 will take you there.

Re: So Glad Its Back But....

Canada was certainly not the only inaccuracy in previous editions; nor the worst. Certainly the availability and access to definite military information prior to the mid-1990s was far more difficult than when the web-age began. Has there ever been a game (or even much fiction) that got the Balkans e...

Re: NOSTROMO – the Accurate Deck Plans (IMO, anyway...)

We're discussing the vessel the outline of which can be seen in the plans in the first post. I doubt that's the refinery... I am aware of what is being discussed. And you are correct that the deck plans at the beginning of the thread are not the refinery. The massive size of the ship is due to a mi...

Re: NOSTROMO – the Accurate Deck Plans (IMO, anyway...)

the absolutely smegging stupendous size of the ship.
The Nostromo is essentially a tug boat. The staggering size of what is seen in the film that you refer to is the oil refinery they are towing.

Re: Costs not in the core book (fuel, air, lodging etc)

You aren't overthinking it. It's a glaring absence in the book. Space station docking fees, refueling, ship resupply of food, etc ad astra. For our games, we've adapted these things from Traveller and Coriolis. But it would have been nice to have had a paragraph dedicated to them since they are the ...

Re: Printer Friendly Character Sheets?

I'd suggest some readers, but I'd probably receive another mod warning because evidently, I was the only transgressor here. So my suggestions won't appear here again. Mod. I haven't given anyone a warning (to give someone a warning is a moderator tool). If I would have given you  a warning you would...

Re: Printer Friendly Character Sheets?

Pdf readers have the tools built into most pdf readers, certainly Adobe's free one (as I am using).

You may be a good cook, and have been for two decades, but for this meal, you can't seem to find the bloody pantry.

Mod. Please stop this "bantering" before it escalates to something else.

Re: Vacuum + Freezing Effects

At least in the game, it is called "Cinematic Explosive Decompression" and not just "Explosive Decompression". Acknowledging the difference plays well with me.  8-) I doubt, that Fria Ligan will follow my suggestion about this term. :D Ah. My misreading. I saw the term and superimposed it in my vis...
