Nice idea! I do feel there could be another option - you spend lots of time looking for and calling the cat, and only when you finally stop looking does it appear wanting food...which it then doesn't eat...

Auto Fire (p89+)

The auto fire section (p90) says as its last bullet point "Regardless of whether your initial roll is successful or not, you can choose to keep rolling dice, one at a time..." In the example in the sidebar, Sabah gives the GM a Darkness Point to reroll, which seems at odds with the above description...

Mutation Attacks vs Armour

If a mutant uses a mutation vs an opponent wearing armour, does that opponent get an Armour roll? i.e. does use of mutant points bypass armour? I can see that it could given the MP cost, but if so then it also proves bad for PCs if mutant powers are used against them.
