Re: Vaesen: Mythic Britain coming, written by Graeme Davis with new art from Egerkrans

It would be fun with some crossover ideas. The Swedish Society gets invited to the UK equivalent (or viceversa) for their experience in dealing with a particular strange vaesen, plagueing the countryside.

Woop woop! Looking good! Will be fun to see peoples ideas for a conversion of vaesen/name to Sweden as well.

Re: Advice for one shot?

In the adventure book A Grim Secret, you have four excellent ones. I would suggest "Silver of the Sea". Avoid the intro adventure in the rules IMO.

Re: A New Life awaits you in the Off-World Colonies

Those kind of scenarios/investigations will be welcomed! Detailed settings Off-world fdor specific adventures would be fine IMO, just as long as the books do not try to expose, extrapolate or explain "everything" on a grand scale. Keep the mystery!

The next edition of Tabletop Gaming (60) will have a 15 page scenario from the upcoming sourcebook if I understood things correct.

Re: A New Life awaits you in the Off-World Colonies

Yes, let any use be perhaps in ‘cinematic” scenarios or as subtle references, but keep the “all-the-details-shown” away. I believe part of the success of great sci~fi are those off-hand references; like “he flew the gullfire over St Petersburg’, the Tannhauser Gate, etc. Keep the imagination spinning.

Re: A New Life awaits you in the Off-World Colonies

I hope they keep them as in the movies - unknown and mysterious, yet alluring.

Re: Tomas spills some secrets about the RPG

I also hope they stay (mostly) in LA for the setting, and by all means keep the Off-World colonies well off! As for Bengt-Petter's idea for solo play, such as running your own bar, detective bureau or gambling den - this could be done for group play as well - sort of like the Castle in Vaesen or the...

Re: Tomas spills some secrets about the RPG

I think that Tomas mentioned ”Baker Street - roleplaying in the world of Sherlock Holmes” as an inspiration. But is Bladerunner really about looking for clues? I get that it’s something playable and such a premise might be interesting. Still, I’d prefer a more Marlowesque approach. I’d like to see ...

Re: Inspiration: Other sources for setting music

I love Jarre (and the original OST - which still get played at home), but prefer non-identifiable music/sounds as background when playing. Mood setters, enhancing the atmosphere, rather than risk breaking the immersion with players going: "oh, this one! Turn up the volume", or "ah, this was my ex's ...
