Re: The Swedish setting

If I remember correctly, field test with the involved tanks were ongoing around 91-92 in Sweden, and it was fairly clear that the Leopard was the one likely to win.

Re: Twilight: 2000!

The game and setting was really good! The modules were sand boxes before the term I guess. I remember being a little frustrated by the lack of detailed maps and railroaded adventures in them, coming from fantasy gaming, but that forced the GM to be creative with the tools given. Challenge magazine w...

Found memories of adventures in the Free City of Krakow, Pirates of the Vistula etc, Tim Bradstreet's iconic illustrations, taught me central european cartography and I still recognize most weapons & vehicles from that era... The Barbarians of Lemuria "men's stories" rpg spin-off D.O.G.s of War had ...

Re: Vaesen Lifepath idea

I really like the lifepath and way that social standing affects your profession when compared to the archetype (low social class might be an enlisted soldier, but higher will be an officer)! Much diversity and good use of the (limited) archetypes and a good representation of the era's rigid social s...

Re: Vaesen - inspiration from other media

Any good folklore/horror books out there which could be plundered for ideas/setting details for Vaesen? There are a number in Swedish ones that covers "light horror" with a basis in folklore, most set in modern times. Vackra Svenska Kyrkor..., Gruvdamen, Vätten, Folktro, Kleptomania etc, but are the...

Re: Mutant YZ in an other planet?

Yes, it doesn´t make sense not to translate Hindenburg as it "wraps" together the four core boxes and is a natural progression from The Grey Death etc. It will be the core setting/rules for future adventures to my understanding. But the steampunky "grandvillified" Hindenburg and the Ad Astra seems v...

Re: Mutant YZ in an other planet?
