How much in-game time for a campaign?

Concluding the Aslene expansion, it would be helpful for me to know how much time your adventurers spent in-game on the campaigns Raven's Purge and Wake of the Winter King . This would give me hints concerning the campaign clock etc. (Feel free to tell me how much your players spent IRL too if you l...

Re: So what's the next Kickstarter going to be?

Thanks for your reply Erik! Our group really loves both the game and Raven's Purge. We are taking our time and still have the Bitter Reach to contend with. It could be the best RPG experience I've ever had (on any media btw). So please, take your time and have fun with it. Great to hear, and I hope...

Re: Does the map have roads?

On one of the earliest map sketches, there actually were ancient dwarven ”highways” here and there in Ravenland, these having been summoned in solid stone by stone singers a long time ago. The roads were cracked and in bad shape, but usable at some stretches. They didn't make it to the final version...

Re: So what's the next Kickstarter going to be?

Any news on the Aslene campaign? We are a group that's really looking forward to it? I actually had a zoom meeting with Tomas and Mattias at FL about Aslene today, and it's well underway. I'll leave the time plan for the leaguists though. We agreed to make the expansion really well rather than to h...

Re: The race for Stanengist and the artefacts

So my player has acquired Stanengist very early on, which sets an interesting dynamic. Instead of actively questing for it, she's now in a kind of Bilbo Baggins situation, trying to keep it safe and secret, and also trying to understand what it is and what it can do. I've set up a Rust Brother as a...

Re: Whiners and hollow rock

Can I ask what you had in mind for the interaction between Oralda and the Whiners in the Vale of the Dead? . To me, the dwarves have an academic and religious interest in learning as much as possible about stone and stone building, while the whiners could be offered a secure place, guarded by somew...

Re: Whiners and hollow rock

I might add some sources of inspiration for the whiners' dwellings. Apart from wasps' and termites' building techniques, I also thought of swallows' nests, built from mud mud and saliva, and of course concrete, which has been used in our world since ancient times. A less obvious source of inspiratio...

Re: Shipbuilding and seafaring?

Has anyone made any rules on shipbuilding and sea exploration? I'm working on homebrew rules for my own setting and wondered not anyone else had tried anything? Or heard if anything official was coming? There will most likely be a seafaring expansion in the eastern sea archipelago eventually, but i...

Re: What is a Witch?

he word witch has been used in the setting for various female spell-casters (The Raven Sisters for example), so my personal take on this is that witch is a word that is sometimes used for any female spell-caster. . Also worth noting that Heme herself might be comparable to a witch according to the ...

Re: Running Weatherstone

In the original version, the undead were already awake upon arrival, and the adventurers were given a potion that made them look undead for a period of time in order to blend in. The undead all turned agressive only if your cover was blown or you did something to offend them and they sounded the ala...
