When can a Time cube used to Rest be put back in to the pool? Cannot find information the rulebook.

Help me out here, English is not my native language. Rulebook p 111: "They will get rid of it at the rate of 1 point Fatigue for each following Prolonged Rest they take in a sheltered and safe refuge." I don't get it. Do the characters remove 1 Fatigue after each Prolonged rest? Or do they...
