Re: Whats this about 2nd Edition rules?

I would have to agree with the others saying this feels too soon for a 2nd Edition.....I'm happy with more stuff, as others have said, but I'm SERIOUSLY hoping the rules aren't changed in any major way. I've seen several different iterations of the YZE rules now and Alien is FAR AND AWAY my favorite...

Re: Has anyone come up with a less crunchy TW2K ruleset?

Exactly.....I don't like using all the different die types, counting bullets, having to deal with the 'war game' rules in terms of counting squares and having a trillion different modifiers to keep track of largely based on that (this isn't a T2K specific thing for me personally, I like board games ...

Has anyone come up with a less crunchy TW2K ruleset?

Hello all! I am a HUGE fan of the Alien RPG and bought the Twilight 2000 box set and it's a fantastic product....however, I am NOT a fan of all the added crunch in the rules.....the different die types, the 8 trillion 'war game' combat rules, etc., etc. Has anyone come up with a document to use the ...

Re: Campaign Starts - Getting the Party Together

To flat out steal what I think is an awesome concept from 'Spirit of the Century' game; see if this works: Each Character writes a quick paragraph about a recent experience their character went thru on a notecard.....something like; "Three months ago, Sally the CIA Agent was in Kalisz, Poland u...

Re: SEAL questions....

Thanks, I appreciate that...but I wasn't really meaning 'in game terms'...but rather, what was the process in the 1990s? I.e. would an E6 SEAL in say, 1998, be listed as SB1 Schmuckatelli?

Does anyone know?

SEAL questions....

Hello one and all! I'm hoping some history buff/former service members can help me with a couple of questions I have about a SEAL character I wish to make for a Twilight 2000 campaign/possible story.... So, if I wanted to make an E5 or E6 SEAL in the 'WW3 that never was".....I BELIEVE the ratin...

Re: Xenomorph and Pulse Rifles

Hello all! Like the OP, I too am disappointed by the lack of effectiveness of M41s, M56s, etc. against Aliens in general as I am WAY more a fan of Aliens than the other movies and much prefer to make my Alien games more ACTION-horror than HORROR-action in style. With that in mind, we made some of th...
