Oh, following up re p45: the term 'crippled' is generally seen as offensive by the disabled community, so an alternative might be wise. (And from the character write-up, Cunning might be a better fit anyway.)

@Harlath - that's tucked away in Fellowship Phase - Yule on p120. Each PC gets +(Wits) Skill points.

(Not sure I like the design choice of giving PCs unequal benefits, but that's what it says. Maybe it balances benefits of the other attributes. It's a small flavourful variation once per game year.)

I think it's intended to be a hard limit that a piece of gear can have a maximum of 3 qualities. So if you find one with 3 on it, that's your lot.

But it's an interesting question whether an item with just a single enchanted quality could be given to elf/dwarf smiths to improve further.
