Re: Weapons: Reliability and Armor

Honestly, putting a *tad* of variance in the REL set isn't that difficult. I personally set really simple weapons (revolvers, bolt-actions) to REL 6 - a bonus - and really shite weapons to REL 4 or 3, and occasionally roll for a weapon's existing REL to top it off. The rulebook stats are just sugges...

Re: T2k Support and Publishing Plans

Hello everyone! Sorry, I meant to reply sooner here. The work with Urban Operations is proceeding and nearing the finish line. The module has grown since we first envisioned it and we needed to make some revisions, which have take more time than planned. We plan to launch a pre-order, but only afte...

Re: Helicopters & other aircraft?

There's some helicopter/aircraft rules in the Road to Armageddon gear book supplement. It's a mite pricey to buy solely for those, but I'd highly recommend it overall (provided you can stand the author bitching about the 4th edition ruleset every five minutes).

Northern Poland Map?

So, I'm running a T2k4e campaign, and my players are starting to meander northwards - y'know, where all the ports with possible ships are. Has any third-party map of northern poland been published by this point? I've seen everything from the Baltics and Ireland to Central Kentucky mapped, but haven'...

Re: The number of nukes used in Poland

low-yield MGM-51 strikes (you KNOW they'd be brought out of reserve) and/or nuclear ATACMs (it's capable, just never really bothered with cold war collapse) Took me a minute. MGM-51 is the Shillelagh antitank guided missile used by the the Sheridan light tank. You mean the Lance tactical ballistic ...

Rules for ERA?

KONTAKT ERA plays a really big role in survivability for later variants of pretty much all Soviet tanks, and also highly influenced NATO antitank doctrine and spurred the development of newer kinetic energy penetrators. It's also on pretty much all the art of Soviet tanks in the manuals - all those ...

Re: The number of nukes used in Poland

I'm currently trying to game out a "realistic" amount of nukes used, based on real-life SAC/American targets listings. Currently, I'm at roughly ~120 strategic-series nuclear weapons used in Poland (strategic, meaning >100kt). Roughly a third are used outside of Warsaw, with other concentr...

Re: Vehicle Handbook: A Vehicle Expansion for Twilight 2000 4th Edition

Why does it have the Stryker AGS listed as a vehicle...but not the base Stryker, or any other Stryker variants? That seems quite bizarre. Stryker as an idea (wheeled medium-weight APC, providing an intermediary between light infantry like Airborne/Air Assault/Light Infantry Divisions while being lig...

Rocket Artillery?

How would you stat up soviet rocket artillery like the BM-21/27/30 series? The current arty system seems geared exclusively for tube arty.
