Symbaroum Core Rulebook Foundry VTT Module

Hello I purchased the Foundry VTT version of the core rulebook. It came with all the items, abilities, boons, etc. from both the player's guide and advanced player's guide, which is great. My problem is, that instead of having all the things under one tab (for example items), it first divides them b...

Copper Crown and the adventure bundle

I was wondering if I should buy the original adventure bundle for Symbaroum, or is the 5e version going to be released anytime soon?
Also, I didn't see the Copper Crown in the list of adventures for the Kickstarter. Can it be bought separately somewhere? At least I can't find it anywhere.

Cheers!

Re: 5e hitpoint heroic/safety net

The rules are meant for ease of play, but not to tie the GM's hands. You can sometimes do something little different to keep the game interesting. In this situation, I would ask the player to give me a solid escape plan, and based on the plan, they could earn for example a grapple test with or witho...

Re: [House rules] Journeys through Davokar

Thank you The only problem out group found is that you can only travel 20 km by foot per the rules and it seems you haven't adjusted that either? Seems like awfully short distance. As people were accustomed to travel by foot they could walk at least six hours per day with some food and rest in betwe...

Re: Stupid question: Symbaroum or Ruins of Symbaroum?

Definitely Symbaroum. It might look confusing at first, as each character used different attributes for attack based on their talents, but it is better suited for this type of game than D&D will ever be. I would make one house rule though. No reaction attack (from skills like Polearm Master) sho...

RoS to DDBeyond?

If we ever play D&D it's mostly through Forge VTT or D&D Beyond. Now Forge has excellent modules for RoS, but it's kind of pain to play through DDB as the casting and resting rules are different. Having just read this article though, do you think it would ever be possible for RoS to be offic...

Holy Aura rules

Hello all I wanted to make sure if holy aura harms abominations and undead each turn or just when they first enter the aura (within sight)? The rules are bit unclear about this as the aura is an ongoing effect, but the healing effect for allies is said to occur each turn, while the harming effect do...

Re: Alpha Feedback - Player's Guide Section 2 New Rules

Yes, we need to play a few games first.

Just occurred to me that if we want alternative rules, the easiest would be D20 + your corruption above the treshold. Just roll low and you'll be fine for a long time.

But let's try the original rules first a couple of times!

Re: Corruption Rules

As I stated elsewhere, I think that the corruption needs some beefing up. In the original Symbaroum you could very quickly (a little too quickly) turn into abomination, while in here it's rather safe to go beyond your treshold. I'm still planning my first test game, so the rules as written might mak...
