REASON FOR THIS: It's a bit tough to put new players through Electric Dreams with all the fantastic evidence and crime scene media, only to run a home spun case file created by the GM after that has few of these elements because the GM is not a graphic designer nor half competent artist. (The game artists basically did too good of a job lol)
Basically, you could load the app with tons of images and artwork. The app would mainly allow the GM to label, affix names, logos, dates and time stamps to the images.
It could include tons of crime scenes, locations, and mugshots (beyond what is in the starter set) that could also be named or renamed or labeled in various ways at will by the GM. There could be an image for every clue listed on Case Table 5 on page 228.
Custom character ESPER or LAPD Data Files can be created using a repository of additional mugshots added to the generator (Mugshots beyond just the mugshots in the Starter Set)
Maybe even a little "random selector" option to create any of this using a single click.
Make it super fancy and perhaps you could add physical items to a given scene photo. ex. add a "notebook" to the "shelf" seen in the background of the image.
Each piece of custom evidence generated by the app could then be color printed or shared digitally via PDF and then used in home spun case files.
The coding is probably the easy part, the catch is the artwork. Make Granath, Ekelund, and Grip clock them OT hours!
