Just wondering if there has been anything "official" released that one could use to generate additional digital assets, would be nice to keep with the theme of the documents .. Thus far (since i am not a graphic artist) ive been using Role20 with basic document handouts, its pretty drab

I would also appreciate templates to easily produce good enough looking handouts for my own generated casefiles. Easily editable templates for newspapers and data files, for example. Any progress on these?

Yes, we are looking into ways of doing this, including also physical props - stay tuned for news soon!
