Topics to focus on during a podcast review

Sun 10 Jun 2018, 15:03

I'm currently halfway through a read of the beta Player's Guide. I'll be doing a 30min podcast review of the Player's Guide in the next week or two, which will hopefully introduce the game to some people who aren't necessarily aware of it.

Is there anything in the Player's Guide that you all think should be specifically highlighted, or covered in more detail (like Strongholds)? I'd love to help get more people talking about and playing this game!!

I have bit had t8me to read the beta properly yet, so I won’t add any idea, but what’s your podcast called?

I think strongholds and hex exploration would be good topics to cover as semi-unique to this game. And the dice/push mechanics for anyone not familiar with the M:YZ engine.

Create a character. Go through it step by step and create your own.

Great ideas, thanks! Creating a character "live" is a really great idea. Our podcast is only 30min, though, so that might be something we don't have time for... I'll discuss with my co-host.

It's called "Mud & Blood" and you can find a link at my website (first episode is here), or on most podcast apps.

We'll also be interviewing Tomas soon... :D

Cool, I listen to the first two moments, and it’s sounding very good for an episode 1.  I’ll download and listen to the rest, and wallow in some first ed Warhammer nostalgia  :D

Lupex’s ideas are very good. Given the 30 minute time slot, exploring the hex-crawl mechanics, which surely are the core of the game, seems a good way in. And if your audience are grim-Dark WFRP fans, then explaining the dice mechanics seems a good plan. Mention the crit tables too?

Thanks, we've had some great feedback. Feel free to message me more if you have any.

Great thoughts from everyone here on content for the podcast - thanks!
