Skill names changed to verbs, like MY0

Thu 07 Jun 2018, 18:20

I know it’s late in the editing process, but feedback from group is for skill names to describe actions, instead of subjects.

Proposed skill renames:

Might = Force
Endurance = Endure
Melee = Fight
Crafting = Craft
Stealth = Sneak
Sleight of Hand = Pilfer
Move = Move
Marksmanship = Shoot
Scouting = Scout
Lore = Know Lore
Survival = Survive
Insight = Discern
Manipulation = Manipulate
Performance = Perform
Healing = Heal
Animal Handling = Handle Animal

As for myself, I like the original nouns better.

I agree, it’s more old school fantasy

I'm happy with the names in FBL. Each of the Year Zero games has a unique set of skills, so I think it is absolutely fine to do the same for FBL.

I'm happy with the names as is, but to be truly retro they would have to be inconsistent: Mix subject and action names ;-)

So then, Move should be renamed. Athletics maybe?
