Zero Engine game system for "The Walking Dead" setting

Sat 21 Apr 2018, 17:09

FL would be a excellent system for a modern zombie apocalypse setting.
Exciting what creative publications the "open license" will bring :)

Agree - The MYZ would be easy to adapt to a zombie apocalypse, with guns, post apo equipment, and vehicle rules already in place. Just find something similar to mutations (hero ’powers’?) and it is good to go. A well done hack would be nice but an official zone compendium with rules/setting would be sweeter.

I've got a zombie apocalypse hack in my to-do list and it definitely uses MYZ as its basis. I mean they both share the same overarching genre so there's so much already there to use.
I make YZE games (https://drivethrurpg.com/browse.php?author=Matt%20Kay) and produce predominately Free League content on my YouTube channel (https://youtube.com/@3skulls)

Forbidden Lands stronghold and travel system would work excellent in a zombie apocalypse setting with some minor tweaks.
