It's in the GM guide.
Note that the Belderranian dwarves are missing on the map – they should be in the upper left corner (where it says Belderand on the main map). The map was already sent to print when this was noted.

Sure, but I'd still rather a high-res image file, preferably a layered TIFF or PSD where the village/ruin/fortress/etc icons are able to be turned off...
This would be great!

I'd be happy to convert the PSD into a variety of formats, @Tomas, including a layered TIFF and the usual others (PNG, JPG).

You can't use a PDF on most VTTs, and converting PDFs to PNGs / JPGs (while easy) isn't something everyone will be capable of.
I make YZE games (https://drivethrurpg.com/browse.php?author=Matt%20Kay) and produce predominately Free League content on my YouTube channel (https://youtube.com/@3skulls)

Any news on a map in higher resolution - while we wait for the one on paper to arrive? ;-)

Hello!

The PDFs shared previosuly in this thread are high resolution.

The full PSD file of the map can be downloaded here. Be aware its a huge file - over 1.4 GB.

I may have missed it, but is there a map download somewhere that does NOT have the icons for towns, castles, and dungeons? Simply the terrain features and ruined cities Alderstone, Falender, and Wailers Hold.

Is it possible to release a black and white version which would be easier to take notes on (for example which hexes that the players have visited, where there can be possible adventure sites etc.)?

That would be fantastic! It's kind of hard making notes on the current one (although it is very pretty).
Or does someone have any good tips for making clear notes on it? Any special pens or colors?
Planning on testing Star Ctizien?

Referral code STAR-WVBX-F6QB gives you 5000 extra space bucks to start with (and me a chance of getting a new ship).
