So this section explicitly says it's a myth, but still. The English version, page 3, says the followers of Wyrm were at sea for 3 generations (~60 years?). The Swedish says 3 lifetimes (~150 years?). Both figures seem absurd even for a myth. Is the planet some sort of gigantic Dyson sphere?
Ever heard of generation ships, Klas?
Anyway, Odysseus stumbled around for twenty years in a tiny ocean and Moses for forty years in a tiny desert, so why not? I do think this should be 60 years rather than three lifetimes though. Considering there's an archipelago along the way, this shouldn't be a problem. Perhaps the fugitives tried to settle here and there but had to leave again. This would probably be a story of its own and who knows – it might even get told someday.
