Ever heard of generation ships, Klas?So this section explicitly says it's a myth, but still. The English version, page 3, says the followers of Wyrm were at sea for 3 generations (~60 years?). The Swedish says 3 lifetimes (~150 years?). Both figures seem absurd even for a myth. Is the planet some sort of gigantic Dyson sphere?
OK, so let's say we change ”few” to ”many” and ”ever” to ”never”, keeping the final voyage over open water to 20 years (60 still being the total).Yeah yeah yeah
But then we learn that few of the refugees had ever seen land when they reached Solehaven. Something is amiss. The story arch is fine. Some of the details bother me.
I personally believe the Aslenes were there before the Alderlanders arrived from over the sea. The Aslenes might have arrived from the west. We don't really know but it might be clarified in the next expansion of the game to Aslene. The history of the setting is mostly written from the Alderlander perspective and might be not entirely accurate or the whole story.Question about humans, more precisely the Aslenes origins. Did they come with the other humans on the ships or were they always there long before the shift?
So the history facts in the books are a bit biased...not surprising considering they are myths I guess.
