Hunter vs Ranger

Thu 25 Jan 2018, 16:46

I would like to put a vote in for the Ranger to become the Hunter, as per the talents, as it makes it more relevant to the theme of Forbidden Lands.

A ranger is also a hunter. But a hunter not necessarily a ranger. I'm for Ranger.
I am king!

Do you mean to say that the Ranger should inherit the Hunter talents?  If so, would you then drop the Hunter profession?

In the original chapters we had a Ranger profession, in the Talents chapter it seems to have been replaced with Hunter.

The name of the profession should be Ranger. A Ranger is many things, a hunter, a pathfinder, an archer, a warrior, an herbalist; basically someone wise in the ways of the wilds who guides travelers off the beaten path back onto the road and safety.

A hunter is just that, a hunter.
