Yes, I feel like, I get too little and too cryptic information about the kin. And if I have too little information, my mind automatically fills the rest of the blanks with the generic stereotypes I have about dwarves, elves etc. And that's why none of those races excite me as much as they probably could.
example:
"At the dawn of time, you fell like a rain of glimmering rubies, scattered across the land by the Red Wanderer of the Heavens."
What does that even mean? Is this a metaphor or should I take this for real? Who is the Red Wanderer? Would I as an elf not know these things about my own kin? What is their culture? What is their way of life? I don't know, it leaves me with a lot of questions. I guess questions and mystery are good, but it doesn't help me in creating a character.
The confusing layout doesn't help either. It looks a bit stitched together. I would probably find it easier on the eyes, if every kin had 2 (or 1) pages reserved for them.
