Dont forget the Barber-Surgeon :-)
You might be right about the conversions but I still feel a core bit of Warhammer is the career-tree. Maybe the careers can be used just for show and to get a hint about what the PC does for living?
A few talents I think should be added: Grudge-Born Fury, Dwarfcraft, Contortionist, Ventriloquism, Secrets Signs/Language, Lip Reading, Hypnotism and maybe Charm Animal.
You already havehealing and animal handling as a skill, plus the ranger ability for a pet. Hypnotism is part of one of the thief-talents. Contortionist is pretty much part of both on of the thief talents, and one of the commen ones (the one for lockpicking I believe).
Planning on testing Star Ctizien?

Referral code STAR-WVBX-F6QB gives you 5000 extra space bucks to start with (and me a chance of getting a new ship).

Yes, animal handling might do that too. Contortionist was a part of Lockpicking. Found hypnotic aswell. Thanks!

How about using careers in place of the background events in the Legends and Adventurers booklet, and have these be used to assign relevent skills and talents.

I'm planning on using the FL setting, starting the PCs in the Bilfar region, located in the southeastern corner of the map. It has 2 Villages, 2 Castles and 1 Dungeon within a relatively close area so it gives the PCs plenty to start with. I'll use some of the FL Adventure Sites and create some of my own as well.

I'm planning to run Hot Springs Island using the Forbidden Lands rules. HSI might be a little more high fantasy than the default FL setting, but I think it will be a good fit.

I'm planning to run Forbidden Lands using the excellent default map, but in a setting a bit more like Symbaroum, and changing the Blood Mist to be more like the phenomenon in Brandon Sanderson's "Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell". I'll change the Rust Brothers to appear more like the Church of Prios on the surface, but absolutely corrupted from within. The Church will be relatively new to the Forbidden Lands, and largely unknown to the small corner of the world the Players start in.

I'm starting my Forbidden Lands campaign tonight, using the FL setting, starting the PCs in the Belifar region, located in the southeastern corner of the map. I'll be using The Hollows and Weatherstone as two of the initial adventure sites, each with some of my own additions. There is a castle in the northeast of Belifar and I've created my own adventure sit for that location. My 5 PCs include: Dwarf Fighter, Human (Alderlander) Rogue, Half-elf Druid, Half-elf Sorcerer, and Halfling Minstrel.

I am definitely this time going to be running through the FBL core setting.  But I backed a few system neutral dark fantasy settings that work really well with the FBL system.
The first is Into the Wyrd and Wild
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/64 ... d-and-wild
Its a dark survival like setting where the forest is dangerous and full of monsters but thriving in it and making deals with the creatures within is necessary for survival. It will eventually be on DTRPG, but it just released the beta book, and hasn't fully released yet.
The second is more of a mini setting that I will probabaly use is WoodFall
https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/25 ... m=woodfall
Its more of a mini setting that I will probably use with Into the Wyrd and Wild as it kind of fits.

Oh...I realize I also totally forgot about Karthun
https://www.evilhat.com/home/karthun/

Its a more traditional fantasy setting but a world on the cusp of collapsing and would be an interesting place to play in.
