Legends and Adventurers Gear Options
How do the gear options in the booklet interact with the gear listed for professions in the players handbook? Are they in addition to what is listed in the players handbook or replace what is listed in the players hand book?

Nope, you only add the resource dice and silver from the players handbook.

In the quick reference, step 11, you add the silver and the resource dice but (and noting else).
