Small towns, it could be a bit easier for a weird kid to be popular, maybe an eccentric creator kind of deal? Weird but he's, say, an artist or a child actor. That kind of deal. But I agree on the multiclassing! It would be fun to see what we could do with this kind of thing, where I doubt we'll have any kind of leveling system. From what I've seen however, classes might have more an effect on bonus' towards certain skills and maybe even access to certain equipment? It's unclear, and we're all too impatient to wait the week for when the beta comes out.
Ha ha ha. Hey, I'm just asking the question before somebody else does.

Definitely! I wonder if it stresses out or makes then happy that we're so curious.
Wouldn't have it any other way, but damn is it cold today.

It most definitely makes us happy but it's hard to find the time to write the game, and at the same time answer questions here, but I try to read everything and totally love it :)

Don't stress if you can't find time to answer questions. Ha ha ha. The anticipation is part of the fun. It's like guessing what presents we are going to get on the day before Christmas here.

For roleplay flavour, think about the various specialisms that each class indicates..

  • Geek (Subclasses: Computer, Chess, Roleplayer)
  • Jock (Subclasses: Track, Wrestler, Football, Baseball)
  • Troublemaker (Subclasses: Thief, Stoner, Class Clown, Fighter)
  • Popular Kid Subclasses: (Ingenue, Pretty Face, Fixer, Drama Kids)
  • Rocker (Subclasses: Band camp, Metalhead, Musician, Glee Kid)
  • Weirdo (Subclasses: Goth, Poetry Kids, Alien, Bible Kids, Pagans, Stage Magician, Future Serial Killer)
  • Hick (Subclasses: Farmer, Junkyard kid, Amish, Mechanic)
  • Bookwork (Voracious Reader, Math Nerd, Astronomy Nerd, Science Nerd)

Not bad. I'd love to play the campaign that slowly unravels the story of how the Bible kid, the Roleplay geek, and the Stoner became friends while searching for the answers to a common mystery :D

Well, some Bible Kids are role-players and some Stoners are role-players :) And their exploits down under the tunnels, doing some LARP, and they bump into something 'fantastic'.

  • Hick (Subclasses: Farmer, Junkyard kid, Amish, Mechanic)
  • Bookworm (Voracious Reader, Math Nerd, Astronomy Nerd, Science Nerd)
For Swedish conditions, and trying to keep to the suggestions above, it would look more like this:
  • Geek (Subclasses: Computer, Chess, Roleplayer)
  • Jock (Subclasses: Soccer, Ice Hockey, Basket, Skiing)
  • Troublemaker (Subclasses: Thief, Stoner, Class Clown, Fighter)
  • Popular Kid Subclasses: (Ingenue, Pretty Face, Fixer, Drama Kids)
  • Rocker (Subclasses: Punk Rocker, Metalhead, Synth, Musician, Glee Kid)
  • Weirdo (Subclasses: Punk, Poetry Kids, Alien, Bible Kids, Pagans, Stage Magician, Future Serial Killer)
  • Hick (Subclasses: Farmer, Mechanic, Sami (in the far north))
  • Bookworm (Voracious Reader, Math Nerd, Astronomy Nerd, Science Nerd)
A "Stoner" would in Sweden be more likely to (ab)use alcohol, as "soft" drugs were very uncommon among young teens back then.
