Re: Problems of Setting

I believe that some take the word "game" as "numbers to win or lose". I prefer to see TFTL as a Scooby-Doo game. Yeah, you could lose but is not necessary to cut in half the kids (unless you play Friday the 13 ot Texas Chaisaw Massacre version of the game). I'm not playing the wa...

Re: Tips for use of both settings

I was thinking the same some days ago whe I was taking notes for my campaign. Also you could make a student exchange, one month in the other Loop town, making friend and solving misteries. Even make mixed groups with kids from the both locations.

Vinyl, cassette or cd (some kind of poll)

I'm kind of curious to knew what kind of music player you had back in the day. I had an AIWA walkman and two cassette player (first one small and later a two-cassette player). My big sister had a vinyl player, when she buyed a new one I inherit the old one. Until the 90s I can't afford a compact rad...

I memorize (more or less...) the song even if I don't kew a word of english at that time.  I re...

Re: Out Of The Loop [Alternate Locations]

I'm from Spain. I try to make my campaign in US only because of my playing group, they prefer the us setting. I think the swedish setting is good. Also Spain in the 80s was a great time. I was born in 1975 so imagine grewing up in a country that has a dictatorship until that year. The 80s are fast a...

Re: The Loop - construction, facilities and experiments

The X-Files could be a great inspiration for "experiments". I just remembered one of my favorite episodes:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_(The_X-Files)
