Re: Orcs as Kin, not fodder

Of course. I was mainly protesting the part about the only thing standing in the way of orc world domination was the lack of a strong leader. That could be true for any race, if you wanted to push that argument. So I guess we agree that there are no "Orcs don't"''s, but maybe also no &quo...

Re: Orcs as Kin, not fodder

I have to say, that when I GM I kind of like it when players try to negotiate and make deals rather than fighting, and if anything I always tend to make orcs in other games more nuanced in order to facilitate this. But when I want to have orcs that are pure enemies that you need to fight, I like to...

Re: Huge

Anybody noted an easter egg connected to this in the temple of Haggler's house? Dont know if its what your refering to, but I love the inhabited idols. :) I also dont know what the spoiler rules are so I wont specify further. As a player, I'd love it if spoilers were kept to a minimum and clearly m...

Re: Huge

Personally I think the name ”Rust” is pretty cool and I'm sure Ravenland theologians have written tons about the strong vs decaying aspects. I also like the red colour, the connection to life and blood via Heme and the beauty of corroding iron (unless on my car ;-) ). Anybody noted an easter egg con...

Re: Huge

The god. How do you pronounce it? Like huge (very large) or huggy (hugs a lot) or hūg-A or something else?? Thanks! My intention was ”Huge” like very big (”Stor” in the Swedish version is ”Big”). I tried to give most gods short names with a distinct and descriptive meaning. (There are exceptions – ...

Re: Days of the week

I wrote the setting as you might remember, but didn't give the weekdays a name, mostly because there was so much to do that I never got around to it. My thoughts: I do agree that religious naming of the days would only make sense locally, but would be fine there. Some probably think this would be a ...

Hidden references in Raven's Purge

I'd like to hear if anybody found any hidden references in Raven's Purge yet. I like those and I'm sure there's one or two around …

It's in the GM guide.

Note that the Belderranian dwarves are missing on the map – they should be in the upper left corner (where it says Belderand on the main map). The map was already sent to print when this was noted.

Re: Campaign book feedback

Overall verdict: Very useful! Thanks Klas. Some comments on the weaknesses you listed below. Weaknesses: ⋅ The material provides intrigue hooks but tends to throw them over board in favor of map exploration. Mostly this is not a problem, but... Stone Garden especially provides an interest...
