Minness...

Re: Svärdets sång i Trakorien

Re: Svärdets sång i Trakorien

Re: Willpower and why to push rolls

Some GMs (like me) have decided to focus on the narrative behind the push more and simply say no if it is not logical to push the skill (like some routine skill rolls). Yes, that makes sense to me as well. Personally I will probably go with a more heavy-handed house ruling that removes the issue al...

Re: Willpower and why to push rolls

Thanks Ebrim! I enjoyed listening to that, will check out your sessions in the future.

It's good to hear that this is a topic of discussion for others too, at least.

Re: Willpower and why to push rolls

The flip side to this is that it may encourage players to rest, and do you give WP if they can rest whilst foraging or lead the way etc? The best thing in place is the rule that you can’t push if you have already succeeded and can’t do better.  To be fair, all rolls should matter, and failing a rol...

Re: Willpower and why to push rolls

So then you have to say... how severe is the equipment/attribute losses? A sword gets 2 equipment dice. 2 1s and it's gone. Most people have 3-4 in a attribute. How many 1s to break a person? The risk measures up to the reward. It's why skills should be more valuable then people seem to make them o...
